Top Five City Pharma Must-Have Beauty Picks

    May 1, 2015 /

City Phama is a beauty lovers dream.  Yes, I can call it a store, a pharmacy, but oh it is so much more.  I am currently going through a beauty withdraw since many of the items I purchased last summer from City Pharm in Paris are now practically empty.  So it is my emptying makeup bag that caused me to look at my summer photos from Paris and it is with much joy that I a recall my visit. Located in Saint Germain, City Pharma is where fashion and beauty insiders from all over the world gather to purchase their must-have beauty items. There is always a flurry of people…

Charlotte Ronson “Morning After Beauty” fall 2015

    February 16, 2015 /

Charlotte Ronson designs for the ‘it’ girls and for fall 2015 she delivers with a fresh “Morning After Beauty” look with a collection that is flirty, delicate and filled with light military touches. The show was set in a mysterious modern, urban garden surrounded by oversize flowers and granite prints in shades of deep Blue, Steel Grey and deep Magenta. Feminine materials dominated many looks with sheer tops paired with boxy knit sweaters or fitted trousers.  Refined and edgy, the line was dominated with softer lines fueled by late 60’s sportswear.     The beauty look or shall I say the “Morning After Beauty” look is so natural, so simple, it appears…

    Pacifica Beauty Arrives at Target

    July 14, 2014 /

I have been a big fan of Pacifica fragrances for a long time. Indian Coconut Nectar is my favorite scent and so I always carry the little fragrance tin in my purse for quick touch ups.  So recently shopping at Target I became pleasantly surprised to discover the Pacifica line in the beauty section. The hunt for the perfect Mascara is always on my mind, so I had to purchase Pacifica Stellar Gaze in Black Supernova. It makes my lashes full and long and conditions them, and is Paraben free; all in all a good purchase. I have since noticed online there is a waterproof version of the Mascara called Aquarian…

Discovering Bioderma the French beauty line beloved by A-listers and celebrities

    July 30, 2013 /

Overseas travel is exciting and while I love experiencing the museums, restaurants and historical landmarks; I get just as excited making a trip to the local pharmacy to find the best local beauty buys. I recently discovered for myself the famed French cult brand Bioderma while in South America. I knew the line is beloved by beauty editors, A-listers and journalists alike so my pulse quickened when I saw the products on a fully stocked shelf. Celebrated as the premiere no-frills French brand (among a host of impressive French beauty lines)  this selection of cleansing gels, moisturizers, pore refiners and sunscreens which are gentle enough for the most delicate skins…

    Repetto launches a signature fragrance

    July 22, 2013 /

Rejoice, the legendary Parisian ballet shoes and flats line Repetto has just launched a signature fragrance. The new fragrance, called Repetto, promises to be as iconic as the lines signature ballet slippers which debuted in 1947 and gained worldwide fame when actress Brigitte Bardot asked for her own pair of ballet flats to be worn for casual use in 1956. Primarily scented with a powdery-musky rose, Repetto’s notes of cherry blossoms and pear juice is bright and optimistic coupled with essence of rose, orange blossom, soft vanilla and amber-wood. Delicate and warm the scent is created to be memorable like the perfect dance of a ballerina and to envelop the wearer…

    Top Travel Picks

    July 2, 2013 /

Are you planning any trips this summer season? I recently took a trip to South America which required two planes and a layover and a few simple necessities made the journey extremely enjoyable. A beautiful and functional scarf keeps me warm and fights off any chills, and a beautiful T-shirt allows me to be stylish and dress in layers to be prepared for any change in temperature. To keep my skin looking and feeling good Ole Henriksen Vitamin C cleansing cloths give my…

    Hello Web

    September 4, 2012 /

The Current State of Technology *Photography by Andrés Izquierdo Technology is evolving at such a rapid pace it’s hard to imagine how to determine just what will be ‘the hot technology’ in five years. And as mobile continues to be popular, trends indicate the number of mobile-connected devices will exceed the number of people on earth by the end of 2012. So what will happen? Can mobile overtake laptops and be the primary way to access the Internet? Will apps become extinct as online content becomes configured for the iPad experience? Does the localized niche experience continue to grow in popularity while the promise of broad Internet search results continues?…
