Zadig and Voltaire’s arrival to Washington, DC was kicked off with a grand opening celebration. The famous French clothing line, known for a rock and roll sensibility did not fail to disappoint with a loft inspired store housing many beautiful and witty garments. The minimal decor was the perfect way to showcase the edgy clothes on display. The fragrance was arranged in a library fashion. I received a sample of the scent for women which has notes of Orange Blossom, Peony, Jasmine Tea, Tonka Bean, and White Musk and plan on wearing it on my next night out. Friday Night at Bethesda Row with DKNY PR Girl
This Friday at the Bethesda Row, I had a wonderful opportunity to meet DKNY PR Girl, ALiza Licht, in person. Aliza is the New York fashion publicist behind the popular DKNY PR Girl Twitter account and is known as much for her witty style comments and her adorable alter-ego illustrations. Aliza was very gracious and as you can see in the photo we both adore the shade of Cherry Tomato. Charlotte Ronson designs for the ‘it’ girls and for fall 2015 she delivers with a fresh “Morning After Beauty” look with a collection that is flirty, delicate and filled with light military touches. The show was set in a mysterious modern, urban garden surrounded by oversize flowers and granite prints in shades of deep Blue, Steel Grey and deep Magenta. Christian Louboutin Launches the Most Expensive Nail Polish on the Market
Christian Louboutin announced the launch of his beauty collection this week; and the first offering in the collection is an assortment of nail polish. Ironically nail polish is part of the Louboutin story, for early in his career he grabbed nail polish from an assistant to paint the sole of a shoe to make it more decorative and so the legend of the ‘Louboutin red shoe’ was born.
