Bright Orange Lips Trend for Spring 2014 at Rag and Bone

Orange Lips made headlines at Rag and Bone for New York Fashion Week Spring 2014.

This orange is a bright matte shade, created by makeup artist and Revlon Global Artistic Director Gucci Westman. The special shade is inspired by the Brazil World Cup.

This groundbreaking shade, which is custom created and not available for purchase was created by layering Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Mischievous and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Carnival together. Both shades are not yet available but will be arriving to stores in 2014; but in case you need to wear the trend now a good alternative is Tart and Trendy, a bright neutral orange lipstick cream by MAC Cosmetics. 

Bright Orange lips were also seen on the runways at DKNY, Dennis Basso and Prabal Gurung.

A special tip to remember when creating this look is to protect your lips from drying out, in order for the matte look to look perfect, place a hydrating color first on your lips then a liner over the color.
